HearthSong is leveraging its 35 year strong portfolio of active play into today's wholesale market.  The brand focuses on filling the need for active engaging play and offering our proven brand to retailers nationwide.  Our Key Account Sales Manager is the link between wholesale customers and the company, anticipating and understanding customers' specific needs and offering solutions. Their goal is to create credibility, build strong, lasting customer relationships and earn the wholesale customer's trust.  This opportunity focuses on leveraging existing and building larger strategic account business with catalog and regional retail accounts. 


  • Lead new customer pitches and execute effective on-boarding for new customers.
  • Cultivate and maintain effective business relationships with executive decision makers in strategic accounts, managing a personal portfolio
  • Pursue identified business prospects, participating actively in the planning and sales process for new business opportunities.
  • Collaborate with marketing resources and the product team to define overall sales strategy, and to develop products and solutions responsive to the customer's business.
  • Travels extensively to meet customers.
  • Partner with ISR's where appropriate to leverage their customer relationships for profitable revenue growth.
  • Develop and implement annual sales plans across their owned and shared accounts.
  • Partner with internal teams for smooth execution on marketing and operational needs of Key Accounts.
  • Implement the company's sales process to establish a culture of consultative selling to customer's decision-makers at all levels.
  • Perform all other duties as needed or required to maintain and grow profitable business within the assigned account base.  


  • Bachelor's degree in business, marketing or related field.
  • 5+ years of direct sales management experience within a related industry
  • Proven track record of leading personal sales portfolio, preferably in a wholesale business.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Strong ability to use technology and analysis tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook etc.)
  • Demonstrate strong understanding of selling/servicing independent retail stores and key accounts.
  • Proven ability to develop sales and expense budgets demonstrating a solid finance understanding.
